Shinjuku Station, Japan
Average of 3.5 million people per day travel through Shinjuku Station, Tokyo, Japan. The station is the busiest train station in the world in terms of passenger movements.
Shinjuku is a combination of five stations namely JR-East, Odakyu Electric Railway, Keio Corporation, Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway that serves as a liaison between the Tokyo suburb. This station has 20 platforms and serving 20 train lines. That is not unusual, this station has more than 200 doors out so recorded in the Guinness World Records.
Gare du Nord, Paris
This station serves 180 million passengers annually. Gare du Nord is the busiest railway station in Europe by number of total passengers.

This station will still be expanded to serve an additional 13 points for New Jersey transit lines and 8 Amtrak train at rush hour. Currently running are 20 New Jersey Transit and Amtrak trains 12 in an hour. The project is scheduled for completion in 2020.
